Jeffery Baildon, Harriman, TN, and formerly of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away unexpectedly Sat., Dec. 8, 2012, at the Univ. of TN. Medical Center. Funeral services were held Sat. Dec. 15, from the Midway Methodist Church, Harriman, with a military burial following at Bradbury Cemetery. At the time of his death, he was employed in the machine shop at Kimble Chase Scientific, Rockwood, TN., doing general machine maintenance and specialty welding.
Jeff was born July 10, 1951 in Ogdensburg, NY, son of David and Carol White Baildon. He was a 1969 graduate of Lisbon Central School. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and also of the Navy Seabees. He is survived by his wife, Patty, his mother Carol Baildon and his children, Jeremy and Lisa Baildon, Holly and Daniel Kiger and Matthew Baildon, all of N. Carolina. A step-daughter, Heather Robbins, his sister Janice and Pete Zakriskie and two half-sisters Nancy Baildon and Susan Espenship. Nine grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Also, a niece, aunts, an uncle, cousins and a great-uncle, Douglas and Evelyn White of Heuvelton. He is pre-deceased by his father, David Baildon, his brother, Christopher and a beloved uncle, Gerald Bud White. He enjoyed spending time with kids, coaching them in football and other sports, loved working with wood and the time spent in his workshop. He also was a faithful member of his church where he sang in the choir. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.
