An editing error by the Times resulted in misleading comments by Kevin Doran, Ogdensburg, in Saturday’s letter “Let teachers carry guns.”

Mr. Doran’s statements regarding guns in the classroom were in reference to Israel and not the American cities mentioned in the letter.
