The City Council has reappointed Avalon Associates, Glens Falls, as its consultant to handle Small Cities Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership programs for the next three years.

Avalon has been working with the city on those grant applications since 1999. Over the years, the firm has written 44 applications, with 37 getting funding for $16,335,658, according to a memo from Kenneth A. Mix, the city planning and community development coordinator.

Avalon also works in coordination with Neighbors of Watertown.
