DEXTER — Julie A. Persica, 38, of 23608 County Route 59, was charged by state police Wednesday with issuing four checks totaling $628.80 on a closed account to North Country Animal Health Center, 16760 Route 3, town of Hounsfield.

She is charged with petit larceny and four counts of issuing a bad check and is summoned to appear in town of Hounsfield Court.
