DEXTER — Kammikia Barnes scored 13 points to lead the Indian River girls basketball team to a 42-33 Frontier League crossover victory over General Brown on Wednesday night.

Indian River’s Sarah Mattingly and Emily Kuba added seven points apiece.

Katie Brierton finished with five steals for Indian River (8-2, 6-1).

Katie Pitkin scored 10 points for General Brown (4-6, 4-5).

SOUTH LEWIS 40, LOWVILLE 27

Rachel Newell and Olivia Fitzgerald each scored nine points to spark the Falcons to a “C” Division victory over the Red Raiders at Lowville.

Newell also recorded five steals and six rebounds for South Lewis (7-4, 7-3).

Ronni Ehlers added eight points for the Falcons.

Anna Platz finished with nine points and six steals, and Emma St. Croix contributed four blocks for Lowville (2-5, 1-5).
