Gourmet Guys & a Gal to support Potsdam-based performance series

The annual gourmet dinner to support summer theater at Community Performance Series is Jan. 26 at Thatcher Dining Hall at SUNY Potsdam.

The fundraiser Gourmet Guys & a Gal features area chefs George Arnold, Steve Maiocco, Wally Siebel and Jenny Walker. Music will be provided by jazz artists A Fine Line.

Guests should RSVP by calling the CPS box office at 267-2277 before Jan. 18. Cocktails are at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6. Cost is $75 per person.

The meals, which feature appetizers, soup, salad and dessert, have five entree choices: seafood pot pie, Zinfadel-braised lamb shank in a hearty sauce; vegetarian pot pie, roast tenderloin of pork with apple chutney and beef filet with potato pave.

Menu selections should be made when calling CPS to reserve tickets.

CPS will present the musicals “Hairspray” and “Little Shop of Horrors” this summer.
