After being out of jail for 11 days, a Watertown man burglarized an apartment at 845 Starbuck Ave., city police allege.
Jordan R. Biccum, 20, no address, was arrested Friday morning by city police on charges of second-degree burglary, petit larceny and violating probation. He is accused of entering the residence of Tara C. Sprague, Apartment 1802, about 11 p.m. Dec. 31, and of stealing two television sets, according to police.
Mr. Biccum was released Dec. 20 from the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after serving a sentence for third-degree rape. He also was sentenced to 10 years probation for the rape conviction.
He was to be arraigned Friday in City Court.
