MASSENA — Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Hart, 123 Jefferson Ave., are observing their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Mr. Hart, son of the late Margaret and Romeo Hart, and Katherine S. Laba, daughter of the late Sophie and Walter Laba Sr., were married in Jan. 12, 1962, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Massena, with the Rev. Bernard F. Kellog officiating. Honor attendants were Jane Shoen Laba, Massena, sister-in-law of the bride, and Rene Hart, Massena, brother of the groom.

Mr. Hart graduated from Massena Central School and served four years in the Marine Corps. He is retired from General Motors.

Mrs. Hart graduated from Massena Central and is retired from St. Regis Nursing Home, Massena.

The couple has three sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Julie, Massena, Bob and Debbie, Iron Station, N.C., and Matt and Shannon, New Lenox, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.
