Students of the Dealing School rehearse for the schools annual dance revue in this photo published on June 16, 1961. In front, from left: Ellen DeLaire, Laurie Lynn Hulbert and Donna Clement. In back, Connie Ann Cardinal, Susan Carey, Mary Helen Mahoney, Diane Crupi and Linda Mickle. The pupils were praparing a number called The Toymakers Dream. The Dealing School of Music, founded by sisters Mabel J. and Mary Dealing, was located in the Lincoln Building. Mabel Dealing taught music at the school until her retirement in 1983, and the school continued as a dance studio under the direction of the Laurella Tyler family of Watertown. Miss Dealing died in 1987 at age 94.
