Farm-disaster preparation workshops will be held by Cornell Cooperative Extension associations from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at three locations in the north country.
Registration is $35 and includes lunch and information materials.

The workshop topics include how to prevent and prepare for accidents involving farm equipment on the road; on-farm fires or structure collapse; biosecurity; agricultural products storage, and wind and storm damage.
Farms that complete training will receive certificates for discounts from insurance providers.
