Patricia M. Bishop, 84, of 22496 Wayside Dr., Watertown, passed January 11, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Lively, VA where she was under the care of her family and Hospice.

A funeral service will be Noon, Wed., Jan. 16 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Calling hours will precede the service from 10 a.m. till Noon, Wed. at the funeral home.

Born on August 7, 1928 in Potsdam, NY, daughter of Raymond and Theresa Berry Stone, she graduated from high school in Potsdam.

She graduated from Ogdensburg College of Nursing and became a registered nurse.

She went on to work at the hospital in Ogdensburg for several years.In 1976 she became a home care provider for her son Steven.She enjoyed reading and sewing.

She married Lyle Bishop on February 11, 1950 in the Town of Potsdam.Mr Bishop passed December 5, 1987.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary C. Wiley and her fiance, Robert L. Elliott, Lively, VA; two sons and a daughter in law, David M. and Karen Bishop, Wappingers, NY, Steven P. Bishop, Watertown; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; a niece, Nancy Brownell and nephew, Jeff Leonelli.

Besides her husband a sister, Regina Leonelli died before her.

Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
