CROGHAN A Croghan man on Monday was accused of smashing a laptop computer during a domestic dispute at his residence.
Lewis County sheriffs deputies charged Thomas D. Rice, 29, of 9807 Route 812, with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child, answerable in Croghan Town Court.
Mr. Rice was accused of throwing and stomping on a laptop in the presence of a 10-year-old child, as well as refusing to quiet down, causing other residents to exit their apartments. The owner of the computer was not named by deputies.
