The Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club and North Star matched 6-0 records in Saturday’s Franklin CYO Basketball action at St. Joseph’s Malone on Saturday.

The OBGC squad returns to action on Sunday at 2 p.m. by hosting Bangor.

The boys from the ‘Burg jumped out to an early 19 to 5 lead after one quarter and four players hit double figures in scoring. Konnor Murdock led the offense with 22 points, followed by Ryan Petell with 17, Rudy Binion notched a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, and John Morrison added 15 points.

David Tomford and Matt Snodgrass adde six apiece to round out the OBGC scoring. Zack Snyder led Chateaugay with 14 points, followed by Zach Cook with 13, and Darian Velasquez with 6.

Bangor 72, PAPAS Dairy 40: Ryan Jaques led the winners with a season high 26 points PAPAS Dairy was led by Adam Beane with 13 points, followed by Tyrek Snead with 12.

North Star 54, St. John Bosco 51: The winners were led by three double- doubles. Mike LaVoie led with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Alex Shacket had 14 points and 10 rebounds, Isae Paradones had 12 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals, while Jared Webb had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Corey LaMere led the upset minded Bosco Bandits with 18 points, including a crucial three in the fourth quarter to tie the game briefly. Leon LaMere had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. .

Maranatha 43, Chateaugay 40: Ben Haug, Matt Fish, and Jacob Searlesscored eight points for the winners.

In splinter action, the OBGC outscored the St. John Bosco splinters 52 to 36. The winners, minus Vinnie Molinari, who was singing at Crane, were led by Spencer Mayette with 23, while Zach Ashley added 10. Zach Worden, Zade Lesperance and Aidan Shea rounded out the scoring with 8, 6, and 5 respectively.
