■ Due to a reporter’s error, an article in the Jan. 11 issue of the Times mischaracterized the Feb. 26 meeting of the Carthage Wilna Fire District. The district will hold a public referendum from 6 to 9 p.m. at the fire station, 685 S. James St., to vote on the purchase of a new fire engine/pumper.

■ A story in Tuesday’s edition should have reported General Brown Central School District Superintendent Stephan J. Vigliotti Sr. was hired as deputy superintendent in 1991.
