A special session of the Jefferson County Board of Legislators has been scheduled for Jan. 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chambers of the Board of Legislators, 195 Arsenal St.

According to the agenda, the purpose of the meeting is “to further address certain personnel matters within the Sheriff’s Department and consider appropriate actions to be taken as a result.”
