Joe and Marjory Williams, LaFargeville, and Arlin and Lisa Brewster, Foothill Ranch, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Nicole Williams, to Frank Valadez, both of Clayton.

Miss Williams graduated in 2007 from Thousand Islands Central School, Clayton, and attended the University of LaVerne (Calif.). She is guest services manager at Angel Rock Cottages, Cape Vincent.

Mr. Valadez, son of Frank and Jill Valadez, Clayton, graduated in 2003 from Thousand Islands Central School and in 2007 from St. Lawrence University, Canton, with a degree in global studies. He is employed in the meat department at the Fort Drum Commissary.

An April 27 wedding is planned.
