MASSENA – Stephen J. Reidell, 36, of 621 Lansing St., Watertown and Kylie R. Nyland, 29, of 619 Lansing St., Watertown, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance by state police at 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

The pair was stopped for failing to use a turn signal when turning off of University Ave. They were found to be in possession of pills and opiates, according to troopers.

They are scheduled to appear in Massena Town Court.
