OGDENSBURG — Ray A. Planty, 33, of 708 Washington St., Apt. 3, was charged Saturday by village police with assault and criminal contempt.

Mr. Planty was allegedly involved in a physical dispute with Suzette M. Myers, 30, same address.

He was taken to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, and held on $1,000 bail.
