The National Weather Service has issued a lake-effect snow warning and hazardous weather outlook for Jefferson and Lewis counties today.
The notice, issued Monday afternoon by the agencys Buffalo-area office, indicated the counties would receive 5 to 10 inches. Temperatures are expected to range from 5 to 10 degrees.
That warning is in effect until 4 p.m. today.
