RUSSELL A Harrisville woman was hospitalized and four teens escaped injury after a car struck a tree Sunday afternoon in the town of Russell, state police said.
Troopers said they believe Julie L. Sharlow, 32, suffered a seizure while driving on Pestle Street Road near Pleasant Street.
The vehicle left the road, traveled down an embankment and crashed head-on into a tree, police said Monday.
Ms. Sharlow was treated for injuries that were not believed to be major, troopers said. The four juveniles, who were 14 and 15 years old, were not injured, but were taken to the hospital because their parents were not at the crash scene.
No charges were issued in connection with the crash, troopers said.
