WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Thousand Islands Privateers have lost another Federal Hockey League rival.

The Williamsport Outlaws season has abruptly ended and the team will be disbanded, according to a report on Monday.

The Outlaws, who were to host the Privateers on Monday afternoon on the team’s outdoor ice surface at the city’s minor baseball stadium, announced they had canceled the game with an official announcement on the team’s website.

Williamsport posted a 22-19 record through 41 games this season and occupies second place in the FHL.

Before moving to Williamsport before this season, the franchise won the 2012 FHL championship as the New Jersey Outlaws.
