Clarkson will be making its first real road trip since Nov. 30-Dec. 1 when it travels to play Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend.
The Golden Knights (4-12-5 overall, 3-5-2 ECAC Hockey) made a 10-mile bus ride to play at St. Lawrence University on Dec. 5 and then drove 80 miles to Lake Placid for a neutral site game against the Saints on Dec. 8. But Clarkson's last six games have been at Cheel Arena.
The road may be welcome to a Clarkson squad that has struggled at home, with a 1-8-2 record. The Golden Knights are 2-4-4 in road games this season.
Clarkson has some momentum after rallying from a 3-0 deficit in the third period on Saturday to tie SLU 3-3.
