ADAMS South Jefferson wrestling coach Pat Conners earned his 400th career victory as the Spartans secured a 66-11 Frontier League interdivision win over Beaver River on Wednesday night.
South Jefferson captured 12 of 15 weight classes, three by pinfall. Ryan Charlebois (220 pounds), Logan Nichols (152) and Jon Crast (138) recorded pins, while Adam Hutchison (120) won by technical fall for the Spartans (27-0, 8-0).
Brandon Steiner (145) won by technical fall for the Beavers (2-14, 0-8).
Conners, in his 21st season as head coach, secured his 300th victory on Dec. 4, 2009, in a 38-30 win over Hidden Valley, Va., at the Hedgesville Eagles Tournament in West Virginia.
GENERAL BROWN 77, SOUTH LEWIS 6
Corey Gaffney and Peter Will each recorded the 100th victory of their respective careers to help the Lions to an interdivision triumph over the Falcons in Dexter.
Gaffney and Will, both seniors, won their respective bouts by pinfall for General Brown (18-5, 9-1).
Damion Dennee won the 120-pound match by pinfall to score the six points for South Lewis (2-16, 2-6).
BOYS BASKETBALL
A-P-W 60, LOWVILLE 54
Baron Correll scored 14 points to lead a balanced effort as the Rebels prevailed in a Frontier League crossover game in Parish.
Joe Carusone contributed 12 points for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (6-7).
The Rebels Aaron Marshall chipped in with 10 points.
Kyle Malik and Brian OConnor each scored a game-high 19 points for the Red Raiders (5-9, 6-9).
IHC 61, GENERAL BROWN 44
Jude Fusilli and Robin Massey scored 14 points apiece to help the host Cavaliers beat the Lions in a crossover game.
Jude Whalen provided eight points and 10 rebounds for Immaculate Heart (5-10, 4-7).
Austin Giruzzi generated 10 points to carry General Brown (2-11, 2-10).
GIRLS BASKETBALL
A-P-W 44, LOWVILLE 27
Alexis Stevens finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and six steals as the Rebels earned a Frontier League crossover victory at Lowville.
Kylee Bartlett and Erin Stever added 14 and 11 points, respectively, for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown (6-8, 5-8).
Ellory Roberts scored 12 points for Lowville (2-10, 2-9).
