WATSON A large garage in the town of Watson used for heavy equipment repairs was destroyed by fire late Friday afternoon.
Lowville firefighters at 5:28 p.m. responded to the garage at 7214 Kotel Road, owned by Kenneth A. Lyndaker, and requested mutual aid from New Bremen, Croghan, Beaver Falls, Glenfield, Brantingham and Martinsburg fire departments.
The structure and its contents were deemed a total loss, according to Lewis County Fire Coordinator James M. Martin.
There was no insurance on the building.
The cause of the fire was listed as undetermined.
No injuries were reported.
A Lewis County Gradall and a town of New Bremen sander assisted the firefighting effort.
