■ BRASHER - James A. Shaker, 54, of 94 Mcewen Rd., North Lawrence, was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated by state police at 3:03 p.m. Friday.

Police were investigating a hit-and-run accident in Brasher after a car crashed into the sign at Key Bank and left the scene. Mr. Shaker’s van matched the description of the vehicle in the crash, and he was driving in the middle of the road when he was found, according to troopers.

His blood alcohol content was measured at .18 percent.

He was ticketed for leaving the sign of a motor vehicle accident.
