BURGLARY - COLTON - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Edward J. Seror, Jr., 49, of 25 Mechanic St., Norwood, with second-degree burglary and petit larceny following an investigation into a Jan. 25 incident at an apartment at 90 Main St., Colton.

Deputies said Seror had previously resided at that apartment house. Police allege Seror entered a third-story apartment and stole several items from the occupant, who was not present when the incident took place.

Seror was arraigned by Pierrepont Town Justice Robert Camp and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear Friday in Colton Town Court.
