Lake Ontario Playhouse, 103 W. Main St., Sackets Harbor, will kick off its 2013 comedy season by donating 100 percent of its ticket sales on Friday to the Watertown Urban Mission, which supports north country families in need.

Friday’s 9 p.m show features comedian Tom Anzalone.

Lake Ontario Playhouse offers $15 comedy shows on Friday and Saturday nights.

Mr. Anzalone has appeared on ABC, Comedy Central and Showtime. Classically trained in opera, he began his career performing in musicals and operas. He has performed at the Laugh Factory in New York City, for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and with Comics on Duty, shows for troops stationed stateside.

Also performing at Friday’s benefit show will be Vince Acevedo from Chicago. His comedy is a blend of family stories dealing with his Puerto Rican roots, relationship do’s and don’ts and everyday problems.
