PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - POTSDAM - A snowstorm that dropped six inches of snow in the Potsdam area Monday resulted in tough driving conditions around the area.

State police reported to at least 14 property damage accidents; personal injury accidents in Parishville, Lisbon, Gouverneur and Depeyster; as well as nearly a dozen incidents involving disabled vehicles. State police in northeastern Franklin County reported just one property damage accident. Among those accidents were:

■ Aaron W. Reardon, 30, of Colton and Terry R. Hewitt, 57, of Canton were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 2:50 p.m. Monday on County Route 27, near Hale Road, in the town of Canton.

■ Chad R. Simmons, 25, of Dekalb Junction and Heith M. Provost, 27, of Winthrop were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 5:15 p.m. Monday on state Route 11C, near County Route 53, in the town of Brasher.

■ Kayla Jean Clemmons, 23, of Brasher Falls at 6:11 p.m. Monday on state Route 37C, near County Route 37, in the town of Brasher.

■ Alyssa Rushlow, 21, of Colchester, Vt., at 6:53 p.m. Monday on Route 11B, near Peru Street, in the town of Lawrence.

■ Kateri M. Pyke, 41, of Hogansburg and Amanda R. Cross, 24, of Bombay were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 3:26 p.m. Monday on Route 11, near County Route 23, in the town of Chateaugay.

The state police report for Monday shows troopers responded to two property damage accidents in the towns of Potsdam, Canton and Brasher. There were also accidents in the towns of Massena, Stockholm, Lawrence, Norfolk, Lisbon, Oswegatchie, Gouverneur and Fowler.
