The city of Watertown’s Parks and Recreation Department will offer snow play days at Thompson Park on Fridays in February.

Starting Friday, the program will consist of snow arts and crafts, Arctic exploration, storytelling and “cool” adventures. They will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. near the pool house. Other snow play days will be Feb. 8, 15 and 22.

The department recommends dressing warmly in snow clothes and boots. The event will be canceled if the temperature is more than 10 degrees below zero or if a winter weather advisory is in effect.
