OGDENSBURG — A property taken by the city last year after property taxes weren’t paid will be sold at public auction.

City officials are placing 801 Washington St., one side of a duplex, on the block for a minimum bid of $20,000. The auction is slated at 11 a.m. Feb. 14 in City Council chambers.

The winning bidder would be responsible for $6,800 in unpaid taxes, City Comptroller Philip A. Cosmo said.
