Russell E. Boles, 47, of 36421 Penet Square Dr., Apt. 3, LaFargeville, was charged by city police on Friday night in a parking lot at 430 Factory St., with disorderly conduct and attempted unlawful possession of marijuana.

Police said he yelled and attempted to start a fight and some pot was discovered in a baggie in his pocket. He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $100 police bail pending arraignment.
