Michael P. King, 40, of 426 Morris St., was arrested Monday at 2:14 p.m. on an Ogdensburg City Court bench warrant for failure to appear to pay a fine, city police said.

Charles E. LaValley, of 107 Centennial Terrace, called Ogdensburg police Sunday at 10:45 p.m. to report that more than $200 belonging to him was stolen.

Matthew R. Ross, 20, of 1261 Jay St., Apt. 2, was arrested Sunday at 1:47 a.m. for criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree menacing. City police said he grabbed Erica L. Carter, 20, 412 Belmont Courts, by the throat and squeezed. He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in city court on Friday.

Kelly J. Staton, 37, of 9578 Five Mile Line Road, was arrested Saturday at 8:20 p.m. on a warrant for a charge of third-degree assault. Ogdensburg police said she was released after posting $100 bail.
