The board of directors of the Orchestra of Northern New York has entered into a partnership with the Northern New York Community Foundation to administer its endowment fund.
The orchestra is celebrating its 25th year of providing symphonic music in the north country. As part of that commemoration, it is in the midst of a campaign to raise funds to help grow its endowment to help ensure its future.
By partnering with the foundation, the orchestra is able to work with donors to tailor their giving to meet specific needs, according to April L. Fallon, coordinator of partnerships at the foundation.
Supporting the orchestras endowment/campaign can be done through several options such as one-time donations, short- or long-term pledges or estate planning. To discuss supporting the ONNY endowment fund, contact Jared Carey, the orchestras business manager, at 267-3251.
