CARTHAGE — Charles P. Rivers, 66, Milady Road, was taken to Carthage Area Hospital following a one-vehicle rollover Tuesday morning on Route 126 and was treated for a bump to the head.

The cause of the accident is still being investigated, but state police said Mr. Rivers told them that he was unaware of what happened, and that he may have dozed off.

Mr. Rivers’s 2011 Chevrolet Silverado went off the road and struck several mailboxes before rolling over just before 9:20 a.m. The airbag was deployed.

Mr. Rivers was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
