ELLISBURG —An Oswego County man was committed early Wednesday to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, Watertown, for allegedly sending death threats by text to a town of Ellisburg woman, according to state police.

Bruce R. Dings, 26, Phoenix, is charged with aggravated harassment. Bail was set at $500 by Ellisburg Town Justice Peter C. Payne.

Police were notified Oct. 30 about his alleged threats to shoot Elizabeth Grosso, Pierrepont Manor. He was arrested Tuesday night in Pulaski.
