POTSDAM - Time Warner Sports will televise SUNY Potsdam men’s and women’s basketball games against SUNY Geneseo this Friday.

The women’ will face the Blue Knights at 6 p.m., and the men’s contest will tip off at 8 p.m. North Country fans can watch the games on channel 9 locally and the broadcast will be available in high definition on channel 813 all across Upstate New York and the North Country.

A live, online webcast is also available from SUNY Potsdam’s athletics’ website, potsdambears.com, at http://www.potsdambears.com/showcase.

Following the live broadcasts, the games can be viewed on Time Warner Sports on Demand, channel 577.

Friday’s contests are also the centerpiece of the SUNY Potsdam athletic department’s tenth annual Bear Pride Night. All fans attending will be eligible to win prizes and participate in the “Sears Shootout,” sponsored by Potsdam Sears. Selected “Shootout” contestants will shoot baskets for a chance to win a large flat screen television at halftime of the men’s game.
