Funeral services for Cecilia M. Perkins, age 52, of Grant St., Ogdensburg will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in the Spring. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Frary Funeral Home. Ms. Perkins passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center Emergency Room after being stricken at her home.

She is survived by her brother, Ralph and his wife, Maureen, of Baldwinsville, NY; three sisters, Donna and Mary Perkins of Ogdensburg and Anne Perkins of Norwood; one niece, Sara Dougherty of Syracuse; and one nephew, Michael Perkins of Syracuse.

Cecilia was born on April 17, 1960 in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Leo and Cecilia Rivers Perkins. She attended local schools. She was a self-employed child care provider all of her life. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and going to the casino.

Donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
