Ronald and Antoinette Trottier, Cape Vincent, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen M. Trottier, Boston, Mass., to Kyle J. Rizzo, also of Boston.

Miss Trottier graduated in 2006 from Thousand Islands Central School, Clayton, and in 2009 from Broome Community College, Binghamton, with a degree in dental hygiene. She is patient treatment coordinator at Dr. Gary Login’s office, Brookline, Mass.

Mr. Rizzo, son of James V. Rizzo and Pamela Wardwell, DePeyster, graduated in 2006 from Gouverneur Central School, in 2009 from Jefferson Community College, Watertown, with an associate degree in business administration, and in 2012 from SUNY Potsdam, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a banking representative for Soverign Bank, Hull, Mass.

A Sept. 8 wedding is planned.
