Tim Fuller finished sixth in Saturday night’s 50-lap Winter Freeze finale at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga.

The Watertown driver started fifth in the World of Outlaws late-model feature. On Friday night, Fuller started seventh, but finished 12th.

Watertown native Tim McCreadie rebounded from a crash in Friday night’s race to finish 18th in Saturday’s event. McCreadie and his Sweeteners Plus Racing teammate Vic Coffey were involved in an accident on Friday.

They were caught in a jam-up with another car, which slid sideways across the track. McCreadie car went under Coffey’s rear so far that McCreadie’s hood scoop was torn off, forcing both drivers out of the race. McCreadie’s and Coffey’s pit crews worked until 3 a.m. Saturday fixing the damage.

After two races, Fuller is tied for sixth place in points, while McCreadie is 20th. Shane Clanton won Friday night’s race and Josh Richards was Saturday night’s winner. They are tied for first in the points race.
