St. Lawrence University freshman Ella Martin set two Liberty League indoor track records at the conference championships at Rochester Institute of Technology en route to being named league track performer of the week.

Martin, now a two-time top indoor track performer, set records in the mile and the 5,000 meters to help the Saints win the team title for the third straight year. SLU’s Divya Biswal was named field performer of the week with wins in the triple jump, long jump and 60 hurdles as well as being a part of the winning 800 relay team. Marisa Turner earned rookie of the week honors after placing second behind Martin for first-year athletes.

St. Lawrence’s Spencer Patterson was named Liberty League men’s indoor track athlete of the week after winning the 800 meters and mile. Former Ogdensburg Free Academy standout and SLU freshman Nick Crawford was named rookie of the week, becoming the only freshman to win an event (400 meters).

Clarkson’s Marques Charlton and Leighann Tomita earned spots on the Liberty League honor roll for men’s and women’s basketball, respectively.
