HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Heather B. Caskinette, 42, of 27 1/2 Spruce St., Massena, on a criminal summons from Oct. 14 and charged her with second-degree harassment at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Caskinette allegedly slapped Cathy A. Height in the face twice durinhg an incidentg at 6:43 p.m. Oct. 14 at The Delmar, Andrews Street. Ms. Height told police Caskinette walked in the bar, grtabbed her by the arm and told her they needed to go outside so she could talk to her. Ms. Height said when she rejected that invitation she was slapped twice. Caskinette, in a statement she provided police, acknowledged she had slapped Ms. Height. “I thought that Cathy pulled my hair so I grabbed her arm,” she said, noting she then slapped Ms. Height.

HARASSMENT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Devin M. Paquin, 28, of 53 Maple St., Massena, on a criminal summons dated Jan. 1 at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday and charged him with scond-degree harassment. Paquin allegedly pushed and punched Justin Brailsford at 12:30 a.m. New Year’s Day at the Bowlmor. Mr. Brailsford told police he had walked outside the backdoor of the bowling alley and when he walked back inside a short time later he was “sucker punched” in the left eye. He said he was kncoked to the ground and suffered a small cut near his eye and a chipped tooth. He said Paquin told him. “I know you had something to do with robbing Dillion” and made other threats during the incident. Paquin told police he had seen Brailsford with his girlfriend’s cell phone, called him a thief and gave him a shove. He said Mr. Brailsford was not knocked to the ground during the incident.

STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Leslie A. Moore, 27, of Massena for failure to stop at a stop sign at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop near Woodlawn Avenue at Spruce Street.

FAILURE TO SIGNAL - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Kallie Diablo, 21, of Kahnawake, Que., for failure to signal a turn at 11 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on Main Street.

INADEQUATE HEADLIGHTS - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Melanie J. Flynn, 52, of Hogansburg for operation a vehicle with inadequate headlights at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.
