Stoddard making Friday morning radio appearance


MASSENA - Singer-songwriter Shawn Stoddard of Massena will be a guest on “Live in the Den” at 8 a.m. Friday with Wolfman Ray on The Wolf, 95.3 in Gouverneur, or 100.1 in Lowville for an in-depth interview.

Stoddard will talk with Wolfman Ray about his debut cross-over album titled, Further Down that Road and perform live. He is donating his song sales to Love Hope Strength and The Fender Music Foundation,

Stoddard is currently ranked #1 on the Alternative/Pop Rock /Country Grunge Charts at ReverbNation for Ogdensburg, NY with over 3,000 fans. Even though the album has not been officially released yet, Stoddard has already garnered fantastic comments including Feels Like Love sounds beautiful; Are you out there totally rocks, very cool; Further Down That Road is a very nice song; Talk about it is a great solid pop song, nicely sung and great lyrics; You don’t know is a great song; Strong and it; Your music and guitar is outstanding; Great songwriting skills, voice and guitar Shawn; and Really loving your music, great style.

In September of 2002, Stoddard released his first song, Talk About it, with Michael Scriminger on drums, Lacey (Stoddard) Peets on back-up vocals and Dwayne Powers on bass. In July 2012, Stoddard re-released this song to be included on debut cross-over album Further Down That Road. In November 2010, Stoddard released You Don’t Know. In July 2012, he re-released this song.

He also played this song live on The Wil Hansen Show on Feb. 4. In August 2012, Stoddard released Are You Out There with accompanying guitarist Roman Salas. In September 2012, Stoddard released the title track from his album, Further Down That Road. In January 2013 Stoddard released Feels Like Love.

“The album is completely done,” said Stoddard. “Right now I am releasing individual songs via ReverbNation until I have an actual street date for the album, which I hope to share with fans soon.”
