Watertown police charged a woman with disorderly conduct early Thursday while attempting to investigate a street fight.

Ashley E. Petranchuk, 19, of 8383 S. Main St., Apt. 5, Evans Mills, was cited shortly after 2 a.m. in the 300 block of North Rutland Street. Police said she ignored officers’ ordered to quiet down while shouting at women in a vehicle. She had reported a short time earlier that she was attacked by two women at Flower Avenue East and Academy Street, police said. Her complaint remains under investigation.
