CANTON — Samantha Davis scored 14 points to lead the SUNY Cobleskill women’s basketball team to a 57-54 win over SUNY Canton in a nonconference game Thursday.

Heidi Anderson and Alexis Hauser each scored 13 points for SUNY Cobleskill.

Brianna Sayer led SUNY Canton (11-9) with 14 points and nine rebounds. Karyss Terrance scored 12 points with nine rebounds and Kaitlin Myers added 10 points and 15 rebounds.

CLINTON CC 59, JEFFERSON CC 44

Alisha Ducatte scored 21 points and Katrina Garrand added 20 as the Cougars beat the host Cannoneers in a Region 3 game.

Emily Decker contributed 11 points for Clinton Community College (13-7).

Jasmine Canady paced Jefferson CC (10-15) with 17 points and seven assists.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

CLINTON CC 66, JEFFERSON CC 52

Mykell Krecko used a strong inside game of 18 points, 17 rebounds and six blocked shots as the Cougars defeated the host Cannoneers for a Region 3 victory.

Chris Miller also scored 18 points for Clinton CC (13-10).

Damien Jackson led Jefferson CC (6-18) with 13 points.
