LOWVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Richard P. Bush, Lowville, observed their 52nd wedding anniversary Monday.
Mr. Bush, son of the late Ambrose and Alice Bush, and Sandra Kelley, daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Kelley, were married Feb. 11, 1961, at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Croghan, with the Rev. Thomas Aquinas officiating.
Mr. Bush graduated in 1957 from Lowville Academy and Central School and served in the Army. He drove a school bus for 50 years for Lowville Academy and Central School. He also operated a farm and livestock trucking business.
Mrs. Bush worked on the farm. The highlight of her work was cattle trucking.
The couple has two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph P. and Linette, and Benjamin M., four daughters and two sons-in-law, Yvonne and Tim Albertson, Wanda Bush Muncy, Deborah and Wayne Woodruff and Margaret Halladay, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
