The parents of Lindsey Maretta Corbett, Copenhagen, and of Logan Jeffrey Whitmore, Antwerp, announce the couple’s engagement.

Miss Corbett, daughter of Steven John and Sharon Beth Corbett, Copenhagen, graduated in 2006 from Copenhagen Central School. She received an associate degree in 2007 from Jefferson Community College and earned a bachelor’s degree in childhood education in 2010 and a master’s degree in special education in 2011 from SUNY Potsdam. She is a substitute teacher for Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services and an associate for JC Penney, Watertown.

Mr. Whitmore, son of Mindy L. and James D. Whitmore, Antwerp, graduated in 2006 from Indian River Central School, Philadelphia. He received an associate degree 2007 from Jefferson Community College and a bachelor’s degree in history in 2010 and a master’s degree in education in 2011 from SUNY Potsdam. He is a substitute teacher for Indian River Central School and a customer service associate at Lowe’s, Watertown.

A July 27 wedding is planned.
