OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Steven A. Allard, 22, of Lyndon, Vt., for an open container violation at 12:28 a.m. Saturday on Pierrepont Avenue.



OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Thomas W. Richards, 21, of Ballston Spa with an open container violation at 1:10 a.m. Saturday on Elm Street.



UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Sean E. Collins, 23, of Goshen with an unnecessary noise violation at 1:35 a.m. Saturday on Market Street.



ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION IN VEHICLE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Cooper L. Bond, 20, of Norfolk with having an open container of alcohol in motor vehicle on a public highway and failure to turn as required at 11:22 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Market Street. Police said they observed an open bottle of beer in the vehicle that Bond admitted he had been drinking during the traffic stop for the turn violation.
