HARRISVILLE - Donna M. Deline, 49, of 155 County Route 23A, Harrisville, was arrested by state police at 8:30 p.m. for assault, strangulation, and aggravated criminal contempt.

She allegedly attempted to choke her girlfriend, Diana L. Richards, 53, who also lives at 155 County Route 23A. Ms. Richards had an order of protection against Ms. Deline.

Ms. Deline had previously been charged with menacing, criminal contempt and criminal possession of a weapon after another fight between the pair on Dec. 8.

Ms. Deline was arrested in Watertown and taken to the St. Lawrence County Jail, Canton, where she was held on $5,000 cash bail.
