■ COPENHAGEN The village clerks office will be closed Monday through Friday while the clerk is on vacation.
■ GOUVERNEUR The Town Council has increased the income qualification for its senior citizens property tax exemption from $9,000 to $12,000, the same as for St. Lawrence County, with a sliding scale up to $17,699.
■ SACKETS HARBOR The Sackets Harbor Central School Board of Education last week approved allocating $234 to defray the cost of the DARE, or Drug Abuse Resistance Education, program, which is graduating nearly 40 students this school year.
■ OGDENSBURG Mark A. Webster, CEO of Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, has been elected to the Healthcare Association of New York State board of trustees. The association represents and advocates on behalf of all hospitals and health systems in the state.
