CANTON — A St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators discussion on the NY SAFE Act will take place at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 25.

Legislator Joseph R. Lightfoot, R-Ogdensburg, had planned to bring the topic up at a committee meeting Tuesday but was told that would not allow sufficient time for other legislators to conduct their own review.

“I will definitely bring it on the 25th,” Mr. Lightfoot said. “I encourage anyone who has anything to say to come to the meeting.”
